Spooky season is officially here, so if you haven’t gotten your home into the spine-tingling spirit, what are you waiting for? Since trick-or-treaters will be high-tailing it to your front door come October 31, the first order of business is adding some creepy curb appeal—and I’ve found just the thing.
This trio of ghost lights on Amazon is an easy way to give your front walkway a playful Halloween makeover. We like how the each phantom is in a dancing position, making this decoration spooky, but not so terrifying that it’ll intimidate anyone who’s passing by.
Another thing to note: They're solar-powered, so all you have to do is set them outside and let the sun take care of the rest. By nightfall, they'll be glowing. Plus, they have eight lighting settings, including a rapid flicker, steady glow, or soft fade.
All you need to do is find a great spot to put ‘em. The most logical spot would be to flank a walkway, emitting a ghostly glow to guide guests or occasional late-night delivery. You can also line them by your front fence to make your home the most boo-tiful abode on the block.
Or, I love this idea for anyone with a backyard fire pit—scatter them circling the pit for the ultimate ghost story setup.
Right now, Amazon’s selling a three of these ghost lights for $35, which is probably less than you’ll spend on Halloween candy this year. The only downside is that you’ll have to buy a few sets if you want to illuminate your walkway, but when you think about how fast (and how easily!) these lights will transform your outdoor space, it might be well worth the investment.
