I love free stuff. Free coffee at work? Yes, please. Free antique finds on the sidewalk? Sure, my apartment’s full of ‘em. A free Costco gift card? Heck yes. If you’re intrigued by the last one, I have some really good news for you.

Right now, if you sign up for a one-year Costco membership through Stack Social (a website where you can find deals on computer programs, apps, and tech), you’ll get a free $20 or $40 digital gift card—a.k.a Shop Card—sent directly to your email (depending on which membership you sign up for).

First, there are two kinds of annual Costco memberships: Gold Star (which costs $65) and Executive (which costs $130). The Gold Star holds all the run-of-the-mill shopping perks you’ll need, like access to online and brick-and-mortar stores, some travel perks, discounted fuel prices, and more.

The Executive, on the other hand, holds extra bonus features like early shopping access and exclusive services. And, if you shop enough, a lot of shoppers say that the membership eventually pays for itself. Both options include a household card that’ll let someone under your roof get the same shopping perks as you.

If you sign up for the $65 Gold Star membership through Stack Social, you’ll automatically get a $20 gift card sent to your email (it’ll be “free” with your membership purchase). Or, if you opt for the Executive, you’ll get a $40 gift card included with your membership.

As always, there are a few rules and regulations you’ll have to abide by before scoring your complimentary Costco cash. Most importantly, the promo is valid for non-existing Costco members only (or anyone whose membership has been expired over 18 months). Additionally, you can’t combine this deal with other promotions—and you can’t buy more than two memberships at one time.

One more thing: In order to receive your gift card, you’ll have to complete your membership registration virtually with an activation code sent via email (per Stack Social)—and then you can head to the store and start shopping. It’s not noted when this deal expires.

What do you think you’ll buy with your free $20 or $40? I think I’ll opt for the viral raspberry-filled sugar cookies.
