Dessert doesn't get speedier than this easy assembly-job sweet treat

Use your favourite creamy hot chocolate in this easy assembly-job, low-ingredient dinner party dessert. Sprinkle over chocolate chips or marshmallows to serve. A splash of liqueur adds a touch of sweetness, but leave out if you want an alcohol-free pudding.
Make up the hot chocolate according to pack instructions, then let it cool slightly while you assemble the dessert.
Scoop two balls of ice cream into each glass or bowl, pour a sixth of the hot chocolate over each, followed by a shot of liqueur, if using. Finish by sprinkling with your choice of decorations (mini marshmallows, white chocolate stars) over the top of the ice-cream. Serve immediately.
Get Ahead
An hour before serving, scoop out 12 balls of ice cream and put them, spaced apart, on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment. Put into the freezer ready for serving later.
