For the filling
- 2 Bramley apples (about 400g)
- 350 g blueberries
- 2 Tbsp. cornflour
- 100 ml maple syrup
- Juice 1/2 lemon
For the topping
- 50 g vegan butter alternative, chilled and cuber, see intro
- 100 g plain flour
- 40 g rolled oats
- 3 Tbsp. tahini
- 100 ml maple syrup
- 1 tsp. toasted sesame seeds
- Step 1Preheat oven to 190°C (170°C fan) mark 5. For the filling, peel, core and
cut the apples into 2cm pieces. Empty
into a rough 1 litre ovenproof serving dish. Add the blueberries and
cornflour and mix until the fruit
is coated. Mix in the remaining
filling ingredients.
- Step 2For the topping, in a medium

breadcrumbs. Add the oats, tahini,
maple syrup and 1tbsp cold water and
mix in/pulse until clumps start to form.
- Step 3Dollop the topping over the
filling in small spoonfuls and
sprinkle over the sesame seeds.
Bake for 35min, or until the
topping is golden. Serve.
