Ingredients
- 125 g salted butter
- 150 g golden caster sugar
- 150 g dark brown soft sugar
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla paste *We used our GH Pantry Partner, LittlePod.
- 2-3 very ripe bananas (approx 150g flesh)
- 200 g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 100 g white chocolate chips
- 100 g milk chocolate chips
Directions
- Step 1Preheat the oven to 180ºC (160ºC fan) mark 4. Grease and line the bottom and sides of a 20cm baking tin. Melt the butter in a large saucepan along with both sugars until combined. Allow to cool slightly.
- Step 2Stir the eggs, vanilla and bananas into the cooled butter mix. Mix in the flour and baking powder along with a pinch of salt. Stir through the chocolate chips.
- Step 3Transfer to the tin and bake for 40-45min. Allow to cool to room temperature before slicing or, for a fudgier bake, chill in the fridge for a few hours before slicing to serve.
GH TIP
We’ve used a mix of chocolate here, but you could use dark chocolate instead if you prefer.
