As a kid, I just loved visiting my grandmother's house and being sent home with delicious leftovers. Her favorite way to store these meals? With some good ol' Pyrex!

If you haven't heard, vintage kitchen styles are so back, including vintage Pyrex. So I'm delighted to see some impressive Amazon Big Spring Sale discounts on all sorts of Pyrex food storage containers and mixing bowls, including tinted Pyrex reminiscent of past times. There's a nice selection in pretty pastel shades, too.

I have my eyes on the three-piece rectangle food storage container set, which is $27 now (10% off), as well as the three-piece blue set for $20 (13% off). You can also find the large round food storage container on sale at $11 (8% 0ff).

Beyond the nostalgia factor, I've found Pyrex products to hold up well over time. They're easy to hand-wash, toss in the dishwasher, freeze for weeks, and even use in the microwave when I'm pressed for time.

Plus, the kitchen pros at the Good Housekeeping Institute recommend Pyrex, appreciating the versatility of this 12-piece food storage container set, now on sale for $44 (7% off). The durable glass design doesn't stain easily, and reviewers like that the containers don't take up too much cabinet space.
