- Two for tweens: Daisies and LEGO Speed Champions Mercedes set
Fall is peak LEGO time. The cool temps and assembling LEGO sets go perfectly together. As a LEGO fan, I'm well aware that LEGOs can get pricey, so I've done the work of hunting down some of the best deals for Labor Day weekend, many of them hiding on Amazon and Walmart.
One of my favorites is this LEGO Flower Arrangement, which I bought for my firstborn last Christmas when it cost more than $100. I wish I'd waited—it's well under that price now. Here you can see the end result, next to my kid's cat for scale. It looks good in his apartment. I'd get this for anyone—teen, college kid, young adult, man or woman—who likes to do some weekend crafting.
Additionally, the mini replica of the famous Robert Indiana "LOVE" sculpture is on sale now too, at 20% off. I recently put it on my list of unique LEGO sets on Amazon. It’s fun for couples—it even comes with two sets of directions, so you can do it together.
For tween LEGO fans, I'm really into the botanicals for ages 9+, like the daisies set currently on sale for $10. But the deepest discount I found was 37% off a set of LEGO Speed Champions Mercedes vehicles, with two cars and two drivers for ages 10+.
Star Wars lovers might want to grab that Millennium Falcon before the end of the year when it's slated to retire. And as Bluey toys are as popular as ever—it's rare to see the Bluey LEGOs on sale, so I'd buy a preschooler the Bluey Ice Cream Trip set and save it for the holidays.
