Hailey Bieber’s skincare brand, Rhode, recently announced its first-ever pimple patch collection. The patches are part of the Rhode x the Biebers set, which was launched in collaboration with Hailey’s superstar husband, Justin Bieber.
The Rhode x the Biebers set introduces Spotwear, 100% hydroloid pimple patches. It’s no secret that these products are an instant hit with Gen Z shoppers, and if the patches come in fun little shapes, that’s even better. Rhode’s Spotwear comes in five colorful and fun shapes inspired by festival culture: daisy, bubble, mushroom, curve, and jellybean.
“Over the past few years, pimple patches have become popular not only for helping heal and conceal blemishes, but also—thanks to fun, colorful designs—as a stylish accessory that reframes the idea that pimples are unattractive,” says April Franzino, Good Housekeeping’s senior beauty and style director.
While pimple patches as an accessory are relatively new, hydrocolloid patch technology isn’t.
“They were previously used for wound care,” says Danusia Wnek, Good housekeeping’s Beauty Lab Senior Chemist. “They help promote wound healing by keeping moisture in and bacteria and dirt out. In the pimple patch category, a hydrocolloid patch can also absorb any pus leaking from the blemish and help protect from picking at it.”
The set also includes the Peptide Lip Treatment in Caramelized Banana, a limited-edition scent of the brand’s lip treatment, and the Peptide Eye Prep in Banana Peel, a limited-edition style of the brand’s cooling hydrogel eye patches.
The festival-inspired pimple patches are no coincidence, as the Rhode x the Biebers set will launch via an invite-only desert activation during the 2026 Coachella music festival, which runs April 10–12 and April 17–19. Justin will also perform at the festival on both weekends (April 11 & April 18), marking his anticipated return after a long hiatus. The products will be available for purchase on the Rhode website on April 13th at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST.
While the Peptide Lip Treatment in Caramelized Banana and the Peptide Eye Prep in Banana Pee are limited editions, Spotwear will become a permanent addition to Rhode’s collection, with new shapes set to launch in the future.
