I’ve written about beauty products for the better part of a decade, and there’s one product that’s generated a lot of buzz lately: red light therapy devices. And right now, many of our Beauty Lab’s favorites—including the best pick overall—are marked down during Prime Day.
The Good Housekeeping Institute Beauty Lab tests thousands of beauty and skincare products each year, and more than a dozen testers participated in at-home trials of popular devices. Combined with in-Lab analyses, we named the best red light therapy devices to add to your at-home skincare routine.
"Red light therapy works by inducing skin regeneration in a noninvasive way—by exposing the skin to safe wavelengths of light," Dendy Engelman, M.D., a New York City-based board-certified dermatologist at Shafer Clinic Fifth Avenue, told us. The key with these products is consistency. Dr. Engelman said you can see results by carving out five to 10 minutes for an at-home treatment two to three times per week.
These can’t-miss discounts are available on Amazon and sites such as Therabody and Bloomingdale’s. Like most Prime Day deals, inventory is limited and sales slip away fast, so you’ll want to nab these while you still can.
