Taylor Swift was exuding pretty princess energy on a cool, spring night in New York City. While we loved her bold and edgy style from winter, her flowy, whimsical dress felt like a breath of fresh air.
On April 27, Taylor was seen heading out for an evening dinner with her dad and a friend. The singer-songwriter was photographed leaving San Vicente—a private membership club in the West Village—wearing a breezy, pin-stripe midi dress in a gorgeous light blue hue.
Taylor paired the dress with a Mini Lady Dior Bag in buttercup yellow, In Roma Block Heel Sandals from Christian Louboutin, dainty diamond and opal jewelry, and her signature red lip. Her hair was loosely tucked back in a soft half-updo. In the pictures, Taylor quite literally looks like Cinderella stepping out on a typical day.
The dress was the star of the show, and we recognized it immediately from fashion brand, Staud. It’s specifically the Wells Dress in Ventura Stripe. The dress comes in sizes 00 through 16, and you can choose from 10 colors, including solid black, bright coral, and a couple of pretty floral prints. I love that you could wear the dress casually for a brunch or picnic lunch, or you could spruce it up as a wedding guest dress.
The Staud dress costs $325, and at the time of writing, it’s still in stock at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, and Staud. However, if you wanted to check our more options or wanted to create the look for less, I also found some pretty similar pieces from GH-favorite stores, including an under-$50 option from Amazon and gorgeous alternatives from ASTR the Label and Reformation. The sleeves and stripes vary slightly, but they all share a similar nautical vibe that reminds you of warm days at the beach.
