My grandma lived in Virginia inside a quaint home at the bottom of a massive hill on a few acres of land. If you walked far enough to the border of her property, you’d be met with a dilapidated wooden fence, some wandering horses who lived at the farm next door, and a ton of wild flowers.
Inside her home were pops of yellow decor along with country-inspired knick-knacks that gave the space a bright, yet cozy vintage vibe. Rifle Paper Co.’s newest release—the Country Home collection—reminds me of my grandma’s house, and I suddenly feel the need to redecorate my kitchen in honor of Grandma Elaine.
The Country Home collection was released on Wednesday, March 11, and it includes a handful of kitchen items, home goods, and more covered in antique-esque, cozy-country patterns that’ll truly make you feel like you’re visiting your grandma’s house. Anna Bond, the co-founder, CEO, and chief creative officer of Rifle Paper Co., created six designs for the collection that feature cross-stitch details, farm animals, plaid backgrounds, and pretty florals.
My personal favorite is the Home Sweet Home mug, which looks like something you’d find hidden in the shelves of a vintage store (the retro colors are screaming “antique”). More standouts in the collection include this porcelain butter dish that’s ideal for early-morning pancakes, along this recipe binder that’ll bring back the small joy of hand-writing family-favorite meals.
Home and kitchen must-haves aren’t the only products in this collection. You’ll also find phone accessories with Bond’s designs, such as this cherry-coated case that’s reminiscent of antique wallpaper, as well as this artichoke-decorated cover that reminds me of an retro tablecloth. There’s even a country-inspired umbrella and a cute butter tote bag, so you can leave the house with a vintage flair—rain or shine.
Regardless of which pieces from the Country Home collection you choose, I bet your grandma would approve.
