As someone who’s used an inflatable hot tub, I can confirm it’s every bit as relaxing as a traditional hot tub. Sure, it may be smaller and a little squishier, but the warm, bubbling water delivers the same cozy escape.

Bestway, a Good Housekeeping Institute favorite for above-ground pools, also makes inflatable hot tubs. We’re currently eyeing the brand’s SaluSpa Hot Springs, which retails for under $495. At that price, it’s certainly an investment—but one you can enjoy at home again and again.

The tub comes in two sizes: one that’s just under 6 feet long that fits two to four people, and one that’s 6.4 feet long and fits four to six.

Per the brand, it’s equipped with 120 jets designed to help you relax and ease tension in warm, bubbly water that heats up to 104°F. A heat-retaining layer helps keep the water warm while using less energy.

Setup should be relatively quick and painless (though filling the tub with 177 gallons of water with a garden hose might take some time). Plus, a multifunction pump keeps everything running smoothly, controlling the bubbles, inflation, heat setting, and filtration system.

What I love most about it, though, is that you can use this inflatable hot tub year-round—whether you live by the beach or somewhere in the mountains. A built-in freeze shield helps protect the pump and liner from cold-weather damage, while an included cover keeps the tub protected when not in use.

It also comes with a filter cartridge, though you’ll need to replace it regularly in addition to purchasing chlorine tablets for the chemical dispenser. And, it can be shipped straight to your door. My only regret is not discovering it sooner.
