It’s the summer of whimsy and Dunkin’ has decided that every beverage should be wearing the drink equivalent of a pink tutu. Starting June 3, the new Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam, a limited-edition collaboration between Dunkin’ and Barbie transforms everything from iced coffee to matcha into something that looks like it belongs in a DreamHouse.
Of course, I had to try it.

So…what is the Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam?

The Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam is Dunkin’s newest limited-time beverage topper. It adds a bright pink layer of sweet, creamy strawberry-flavored foam to iced drinks across the menu.

It’s part of Dunkin’s larger summer "Serving Pink" campaign, which includes new Pink Pineapple Refreshers, Daydream Refreshers, exclusive merchandise, and even a Barbie-themed store takeover in New York City.

Unlike some celebrity food collabs that feel slapped together, this one actually changes the drinking experience—adding both flavor and visual appeal.

What can you get it on?

  • Refresher, including Ultimate Pink Daydream Refresher, Pink Mango Daydream Refresher, and Pink Cherry Daydream Refresher
  • Iced Matcha, including Strawberry Cloud Matcha
  • Iced coffee and latte, including Strawberries & Creme Cloud Dunkalatte and Almond Strawberry Shortcake Iced Coffee

Which drink should you order it on?

For this review, I tested the strawberry cold foam on three drinks:

  • Iced latte
  • Iced matcha latte
  • Pink Mango Daydream Refresher

Because if I’m going full Barbie fantasy, I might as well commit.

First impressions

The look

Before I even took a sip, this drink practically begged to be photographed.

The foam is legitimately pink—like full-on Barbie convertible pink. It sits on top like a fluffy strawberry cloud and immediately makes every drink look significantly more expensive than it actually is. Walking with the cup carrier one and a half blocks back to the office, several people turned to look at my drinks. One stranger even stopped to ask what they were.

This is the kind of beverage that will absolutely end up on Instagram Stories.

The Barbie factor

Between the branding, the bright colors, and the nostalgic pull of Barbie, the collaboration feels playful rather than forced.

The foam itself

The first thing I noticed was how creamy the foam is.

The strawberry flavor leans sweet and candy-like rather than fresh-fruit tart. Think strawberry milk, strawberry ice cream, or pink Starburst vibes rather than farmers market strawberries. Exactly the flavor profile most people will expect from a Barbie collaboration.

I was worried the strawberry flavor might clash with the espresso and was surprised to find that it works.

The sweetness of the cold foam softens the coffee’s bitterness, tipping into dessert territory. It’s like a strawberries-and-cream latte with a little extra whimsy.

This was actually my favorite pairing of the bunch.

The strawberry foam does an astonishingly good job of mellowing matcha’s grassy, slightly bitter edge without completely covering it up. Instead of fighting for attention, the flavors balance each other out—the earthy tea keeps the sweetness in check, while the foam adds a creamy finish that reminds me of melted strawberry ice cream.

The result? Like a strawberry matcha latte from a trendy café, except it’s coming from a Dunkin’ drive-thru.

Would I want this every morning? Probably not.

But as a summer treat? Absolutely.

I also sampled the foam with a Pink Mango Refresher. Here, the strawberry creaminess transforms the drink into something closer to a smoothie than a traditional Refresher. The foam enhances the tropical fruit flavors and adds a rich, dessert-like quality that feels almost indulgent.

That said, this was the sweetest combination of the three. Without the bitterness of coffee or matcha to balance things out, it becomes fruit-on-fruit and sweet-on-sweet. The first few sips were delicious, but by the end I found myself wishing for a little more tartness to cut through the richness.

Is it actually Barbie-approved?

The real genius of this collaboration isn’t the flavor—it's the aesthetic.

The foam instantly transforms ordinary drinks into something playful and photogenic. Barbie fans will appreciate the nostalgia, while everyone else will simply enjoy drinking something that looks absurdly cheerful.

Mission accomplished.

How long is the Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam available?

The Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam launched nationwide at participating Dunkin’ locations on June 3, 2026.

Like most Dunkin’ seasonal promotions, it’s a limited-time offering available while supplies last. There hasn’t been an official end date announced, which means the safest strategy is simple: don’t wait until the end of summer.

Final thoughts

The Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam is exactly what a summer fast-food collaboration should be: fun, colorful, slightly ridiculous, and surprisingly enjoyable.

The strawberry flavor calls to mind strawberry milk or pink Starburst, the texture is rich and creamy, and the visual impact is undeniable. While some drink pairings work better than others, the foam succeeds at making an ordinary coffee run feel a little more special.

Will it change your life? No.

Will it make your iced coffee look like it lives in a Malibu DreamHouse? Absolutely.
