As someone who writes about home decor for a living, I’m a firm believer in filling your space with items that are functional and fashionable. After all, your home should be a reflection of you, and we both know you’re anything but basic. In the spirit of elevating the everyday, I’m always looking out for cuter takes on practical purchases like paper plates and switch plates. So you can imagine my surprise and delight when I found Wellife’s set of perfectly pastel Mason jars. Even better? They’re on sale for Prime Day.
Look, Mason jars aren’t exactly “groundbreaking.” If you had a Pinterest board in 2016, it’s safe to say you probably accumulated tons of them over the years—and, truthfully, for good reason. These versatile vessels typically come with airtight lids, making them great for storing nuts, your kid’s lunch, or homemade salad dressing. Bonus points: Since most Mason jars are made with ultra-durable glass, you can rest easy knowing they’re food-safe and dishwasher-friendly.
After years of using the same clear containers, this once-novel hack has become…lackluster. But Wellife’s version? They’re anything but dull. Reimagined in a series of pinks, blues, greens, and even yellows, these pastel containers will bring a joyful touch to your meal-prepping routine. Since this pretty palette is a dead-ringer for that beautiful Depression glass I always see at antique stores and in design museums, it’s also a great way to bring a vintage-inspired edge to your space.
Sometimes, a prettier version of an everyday item means you might spend a little more for sheer aesthetics; however, it’s really easy to justify these Mason jars. In honor of Prime Day, a set of six is on sale for $28.37, or just under $5 per jar. Factor in how much you’ll use them—which will be all the time, by the way—that cost-per-use goes way, way down.
If you ask me, this set of Mason jars may very well be one of the smartest purchases you’ll make during Prime Day. And if this set just so happens to be one of the more stylish items, too, so be it.
