Quality bedding can make a big difference in getting a good night's sleep, but it’s not every day you find great sheets that won't set you back hundreds of dollars. The Good Housekeeping Institute Textiles Lab has tested dozens of bedding brands over the years—so when we see a deal on one of our favorites, it's worth noting.
Amazon's Big Spring Sale is officially here, and we’ve been finding incredible deals for the home left and right. Among our favorites, these Bedding Award-winning Mellanni sheets are down to $30.

Mellanni sheets are generally on the more affordable side (they retail for well under $100), and the set comes with one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and two pillowcases. There are 42 color options, most of them on sale, including popular ones like white, beige, and these cute stripes.
The sheets come in eight sizes, including a hard-to-find short queen used in RVs and boats. Best of all, every size is also available in a deep-pocket version that's designed to fit mattresses up to 21 inches tall.
While Amazon bedding can be hit or miss, our at-home testers were impressed with these sheets. They called the material "silky and lightweight" and "extremely soft," with one tester saying, "They are the softest sheets I’ve ever touched.”
In our Lab tests, they proved to be shrink- and pill-resistant when washed according to their care label instructions. Keep in mind, the brand suggests washing them in cold water and tumble-drying on low.
Commerce Editor Jessica Dukes has a set for her king-sized bed, saying, "These aren't the thickest sheets I own, but that's why I love them.
