Last winter, Bath & Body Works and Disney made dreams come true when they collaborated to release candles and body care inspired by Disney princesses (like Sleeping Beauty and Snow White). Now, their nemeses take center stage in the new Bath & Body Works Disney Villains collection.

I'm a big Disney fan, so I've been patiently waiting for Bath & Body Works to do something with the villains. I got a first smell of the two new scents—representing Maleficent and the Evil Queen—and an early look at some of the collectible decor, and it put me in the mood for spooky season right away.

The Evil Queen fragrance blends together hints of apple, pear, and vanilla for a balanced fall apple expression that is both crisp and warm. Maleficent is a bit darker and moodier with scents like plum, berries, and "mystical woods," with cedar wood and musk undertones—almost like incense.

The two new scents are available in most of Bath & Body Works' signature formats, from candles to Wallflowers to body wash, fragrance mists, and even laundry detergent.

There are also various collectible home decor items to choose from; I got the Poison Apple 3-Wick Candle Holder as well as the Evil Queen Light-Up Body Care Tray and immediately found spots for them in my house. If you're looking for a gift for the Disney adult in your life, they can probably use the makeup bags and Maleficent Raven Hand Soap Dispenser year after year.

The Evil Queen Poison Apple 3-Wick Candle Holder would make for an easy centerpiece.

I, personally, appreciate the attention to detail with this collection—like the Maleficent foaming hand soaps and shimmering mists that practically glow in a glittery neon green color. Not to mention, the three-wick candle pedestals that could make for a Halloween centerpiece. My only complaint is the fact that my favorite Disney Villain isn't included (hoping they do another drop with Ursula!).

The 39-piece collection launched on September 3 at Bath & Body Works stores and online—and after covering the Princess line, we expect that certain items will sell out quickly. Act fast if you're hoping to get your hands on the decorative collectibles.
