Hailee Steinfeld has a lot to celebrate these days. Not only has she shown off her acting chops in the vampire film Sinners, but she has also welcomed a daughter with her husband, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. The Oscar-nominated actress shared the sweet news in a Substack post on April 2.
“Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes,” she wrote.
There’s even more for Hailee to be thrilled about, though. The actress and multi-platinum recording artist is the face of the new Ashley Luxe furniture collection, which is a natural fit given that her mom, Cheri Steinfeld, is an interior designer.
Ashley Luxe debuts with five distinct collections—Bracken, Neo, Calden, Modero, and Whitehaven. There’s something for just about any design lover, whether you’re partial to sleek silhouettes or modular pieces crafted with comfort in mind. Each assortment is available in Ashley locations and ashleyfurniture.com/luxe. Prices range from $75 for a textured vase to $9,200 for a five-piece modular leather sectional.
“I've grown up in really beautiful spaces that have been so consciously put together by my mom, so I am excited to be the face of Ashley Luxe—Ashley's new luxury collection that is designed to make everyday living feel elevated,” Hailee told Good Housekeeping.
While Hailee says she’s drawn to the range of aesthetics in the Ashley Luxe line, she does have a favorite piece: the King Upholstered Boucle Wingback Bed in the Neo collection. “It’s so luxe, beautiful, and comfortable, and it feels so refined,” she says.
And when it comes to Hailee’s personal style, the new mom says there will likely be some changes on the way. “I'm so excited to see how our taste in home evolves with our growing family,” she says. “I love a space that feels open, airy, bright, and clean, but one that feels creative and inspiring.” But she’s not afraid to play with colors, patterns, and textures, she adds.
You can bet she’ll also be putting all the design lessons she learned from her mom to good use. One key principle she keeps in mind when decorating? “If you don't like it, change it. Creating a space is such an experimental process and it is a reflection of you,” she explains. “Growing up, my mom paid such close attention to detail not only on how a room in a space looks, but how it feels.”
