I actually didn’t know Costco sold outdoor saunas until I saw a viral Instagram post from CostcoNewDeals. The post features an outdoor barrel sauna in a Costco store—and it has over 100,000 likes as well as over 1,000 comments. People are really into it, with one person writing, “Wow. Yes please. Costco can I please have one!?” and another commenting, “Best Costco purchase we have made!”

After noticing how many people were into this barrel sauna, I had to check the Costco website to see if it’s still in stock. I couldn’t find this exact model, but I did come across other options that are similar.

One sauna, in particular, is a two-person Almost Heaven barrel sauna that’s currently listed for $3,500, which according to one shopper, is 100% worth the price.

“For the price of this I have been blown away with the quality. It heats up quickly and can be used as a dry sauna or a wet sauna. When water is poured over the rocks and coils below, it instantly steams and gives you a nice blast of heat and humidity.”

Per the brand, this outdoor sauna is “built to withstand the elements” with Western red cedar wood—and it includes two benches, a tempered glass door, as well as a sauna heater and sauna stones.

The downside, of course, is that you need a Costco membership (FYI: You can get a good deal here on one). If you don’t have one, it’s worth checking out those available on Amazon, some of which happen to also be more affordable.

If you decide to give saunas a try, make sure you’re up to date on sauna safety tips before kicking back and relaxing. And if you’re enjoying the warmth during a snowstorm, just know I’m living vicariously through you.
