As an engineer at the Good Housekeeping Institute Textiles Lab, I've tested hundreds of mattresses, and the Saatva Classic has remained our top-tested pick for more than a decade. If you're shopping July 4th mattress sales, it's one of the first models I'd recommend because of its luxurious feel, exceptional support and complimentary white-glove delivery.
We've worked with Saatva to secure our readers an exclusive 20% discount on any mattress purchase of $1,000 or more, which can save you hundreds more than the brand's public sale, depending on the model. Simply shop through our links, and the discount will be applied automatically at checkout.

What is the best Saatva mattress?
While preferences can vary from person to person, if we had to choose just one mattress, it would be the Saatva Classic Mattress. In our tests, it's excelled in balancing pillowy comfort with necessary support. Plus, it won over hot sleepers with its standout breathability. We also like that it comes in three different firmness levels to suit a variety of sleepers.
The Saatva Classic is the most popular pick among Good Housekeeping readers (and our experts), but the brand offers a few other models that have performed well in our tests. If you prefer an organic latex mattress, the Saatva Latex Hybrid Mattress impressed testers with its firm support and ergonomic design, which offered "support in all the right places." Or, consider the Saatva HD Mattress, which is designed to support up to 1,000 pounds—we named it our best overall mattress for heavy people after our testers gave it glowing reviews.

Is Saatva worth the price?
It's hard to put a price on a good night's sleep, but we think that Saatva mattresses are worth the investment—especially with our exclusive discount for July 4th. Although prices are slightly higher than they were earlier this year, the 20% off still beats the brand's public sale.
Two things to know: 20% is the highest discount we've seen from Saatva, and Saatva has consistently raised prices every year.
The Classic continues to earn top scores for comfort and sleep quality in our tests, and several consumer testers dubbed it the "best mattress ever." We also appreciate that Saatva offers perks like free delivery, mattress setup and even removal of your old mattress, which typically costs extra with other brands.
Can you return a Saatva mattress?
Yes. Saatva offers one of the most generous sleep trials of any mattress company. Shoppers can enjoy a 365-night trial on all Saatva mattresses and furniture. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can call Saatva to schedule a mattress pick-up and receive a full refund, minus a $99 pickup fee.
