Bath & Body Works’ latest collection just made me feel like a teen again. GH got an early look at the new bright and fun Fruit Fusion summer drop, and it took me back to shopping at Limited Too with a Lip Smackers balm in hand. Hilary Duff is the face of the campaign after all, so I knew it was going to feel nostalgic.
The Fruit Fusion collection is focused on body care, with a range of creams, perfume mists, and other beauty essentials. Before I even opened the bottles, its colorful and bold packaging made a great first impression. I’m obsessed with the elevated matte finish, the fun ombre design, and whimsical charm details. Shopping Editor Angel Madison, who is a mom to a Gen Z kid, says that “it’s a great gift for a teenager,” citing the included charms.

The scents are supposed to be “juicy and fruit-forward,” according to the brand. However, once our editors sniffed each of these scents, we all had the same reaction—these smell exactly like the candy and sweet treats we enjoyed growing up. “This collection makes me wish I was a tween again so I could experience sniffing through it at the mall with my friends,” says Shopping Editor Lauren Gruber. “I'm obsessed with the yummy, nostalgic scents (especially the banana one), and the colorful bottles are so fun to display and hold.”
Fruit Fusion fragrances
The Fruit Fusion collection comes in four scents:
- Watermelon Whirl: juicy watermelon, sugared berries, dewy fruits, peony petals, soft musks, sheer vanilla, blonde woods
- Banana Blend: whipped banana, Italian bergamot, sweet orange, candied jasmine, smooth vanilla, radiant amber, sandalwood
- Berry Bliss: blackberry, acai, pineapple, tart pomegranate, sugar, sheer woods, musk
- Tangerine Twirl: fizzy tangerine, sparkling pink grapefruit, juicy blood orange, nectarine blossom, mango pulp, blonde woods, sheer musk
The moment I took a whiff of Tangerine Twirl, I felt like I was enjoying a refreshing orange creamsicle. Berry Bliss also had a familiar fragrance, especially in the Lip Oil format; it reminded me of the old Lip Smackers lip glosses I used to collect as a kid. “I knew based off of the nostalgic packaging that the scents inside would be good, but I didn't expect Banana Blend and Watermelon Whirl to smell exactly like Laffy Taffy and Jolly Rancher, respectively,” says Shopping Editor Sarah Maberry.
Fruit Fusion body care and accessories
The body care line includes the new All Day Moisture Body Wash formulated with vitamin E, aloe, coconut oil, and shea and cocoa butters. There are two lotions: the 48H Moisturizing Body Lotion is a lighter layer ideal for summer heat, but if you have a drier skin type and prefer a thick cream, the Smooth & Soothe Body Cream is the way to go.
