Summer may be almost over—but where I’m located, it’s still hot outside. Tank tops are the only thing I’m living in these days, and I’m especially into lighter fabrics and silhouettes that give me more airflow (what can I say, I’m a sweaty girl).
As a shopping editor at GH, it’s my job to stay in the know on not just deals and discounts, but clothing trends that everyone’s into at the moment. So I got pretty excited when we came across this adorable flowy Amazon top that’s on sale for $8 today.
Remember the fluid ruffles and feminine draping from the 2010s? Well, that playful and romantic aesthetic is back, with major fashion names (like Chloé and Isabel Marant) incorporating it into their newest collections. Plus, the search term “boho chic” has seen about a 60% increase since last year, according to Google Trends.
This PRETTYGARDEN top easily falls within that theme, and the fact that it’s on sale for over 50% off makes it a pretty hot commodity. (The shirt is available in several colors, but prices and discounts vary.)
Something to note: “The shirt is light and flowy by design but is made of 100% polyester, so know that the fabric is not breathable and could feel a little sweaty,” says Home & Apparel Reviews Analyst Amanda Constantine.
It comes available in sizes small through XXL, and based on the pictures, it looks slightly large for a looser fit. “I love a flowy, slightly oversized top and would lean into the look by pairing it with a maxi skirt or wide pair of denim jorts,” Constantine advises.
What’s also cool is that beyond the thick ruffle sleeves, you can get a slightly thinner strap version or the same top in a solid color instead of florals.
