I’ve been a fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder for a long time, so when I found out the brand was releasing two new blurring products—a loose powder and a blush—I knew I needed to try them. (Because if they worked anything like the pressed powder, they might as well be secret ingredients for an IRL Instagram filter.)
Charlotte Tilbury is known for stunning packaging, and the Airbrush Flawless Blur Loose Powder powder is no exception: The rose-gold compact opens to reveal an adorable velvety heart-shaped applicator. The powder sits beneath a mesh barrier that dispenses just the right amount of product while helping keep messes to a minimum.
After applying the product, my skin appeared smoother with a soft, blurred sheen—and my pores practically disappeared. I didn’t have to cake it on either; a little went a long way.
Next, I tried the blush. Now I’ve always been a fan of cream blushes because I’ve found them easier to blend, but trying Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Blush Blur changed my mind.
The glossy black case immediately caught my eye, especially Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic angel-wing design. The compact opens with a satisfying snap to reveal a built-in mirror and a pristine pan of pressed color. (My preference is “Pillow Talk Medium,” a dusty rose hue that gives my cheeks a natural-looking glow.)
Much like the loose powder, the blush feels lightweight upon application, and you don’t need much product on your brush in order to get color onto your cheeks (trust me, I used too much at first). Luckily, this blush is easy to blend—and since it’s infused with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, it feels nice on the skin too.
Moving forward, I’ll definitely be keeping my new blurring Charlotte Tilbury products in my makeup rotation. They effortlessly give my skin a fresh, airbrushed look—and according to the brand, they each stay in place for up to 16 hours. I haven’t put that claim to the test yet, but when I do, I’ll report back.
