Boden's genius never falls short. The affordable brand that crafts clothing with excellent-quality materials knows a thing or two about nailing a seasonal trend with ease. The most recent trend it's effortlessly captured? Linen.
While I've already waxed lyrical about its flax collection, there's one key lightweight piece as part of the selection that I've taken a rather strong liking to, and it's the Kensington Linen Pants.
As soon as I spotted them, I had no choice but to snap them up for myself—and not just because right now they are 30% off. Soft to the touch yet still structured, the pants are great if you want something comfortable that still looks polished. I especially loved the elastic waistband, which enabled added comfort with no restriction—oftentimes something I think some brands forget about.
Another thing I liked was the fact that the trousers came in multiple sizes, from 4–22, as well as three different leg lengths. Despite being an average height (5'6"), I usually find it challenging when searching for the perfect trousers as my torso is long but my legs come up short. These were a great fit for me—no awkward dragging along the floor or temptations to go to the tailors.
Brilliantly versatile, the trousers can be worn for evenings out on holiday and for casual day-to-day occasions. I decided to wear them to the office, paired with a classic white Uniqlo tee, a pair of woven Mary Jane flats, and a gray sweater slung over my shoulders.
They come in plenty of other colors, but they are so popular, it might be harder to find your size in the ones you want, so definitely grab a pair if you do.
