There are plenty of things I’d happily borrow from Kate Middleton’s beauty routine, starting with whatever product she uses to make her hair look that good. But while her signature blow-out might require a professional stylist and a considerable amount of patience, her taste in perfume is much easier to replicate.
As luck would have it, one of the fragrances most closely associated with the Princess of Wales is currently 15% off during Nordstrom’s Savings Event and at Macy’s.
The perfume in question is Jo Malone London Orange Blossom Cologne, a fresh floral scent that’s reportedly one of Kate’s favorites. Apparently, she loved it enough to have Orange Blossom candles burning inside Westminster Abbey for her wedding.
If a scent is good enough for a royal wedding, I’m certainly interested in finding out what all the hype is about.
As its name suggests, Orange Blossom features fresh, delicate florals with a citrusy twist. Notes of clementine flower give way to delicate orange blossom and water lily, creating a light, dewy scent.
A warm orriswood base adds a soft, subtly powdery finish that balances the brighter floral notes—and the result is a sophisticated, versatile fragrance that feels just as appropriate for everyday wear as it does for special occasions.
While I can’t promise that wearing Kate’s reported favorite will give you an invitation to Buckingham Palace, I do appreciate a chance to try a royal-approved find for less.
