Pros
- Good for warming larger areas up to 200 square feet
- Oscillating fan helps distribute warm air
Cons
- Tower design requires an extra stable surface
Tower heaters are the way to go if you're looking to warm up a larger area, like a family room or small apartment. This Good Housekeeping-branded oscillating space heater comes with all the safety stops, including overheat protection with automatic shut-off, cool-touch housing, and a tip-over safety switch. As with all tower space heaters, it must be positioned a firm, level spot to maintain stability.
The remote control lets you operate it from across the room, while the 12-hour timer is good for programming the machine to turn off after a set period. While the 30-inch-tall heater throws plenty of warm air, its footprint is just 8 square inches, so it won’t take up too much floor space.

Cons

Here's another space heater designed in collaboration with our product experts that's perfect for warming up small spaces, like a home office. It's unique in that it plugs directly into any wall outlet, making it extremely space efficient. Despite its compact housing, it delivers plenty of targeted heat.
