Now that Amazon Prime Day (Oct. 6–7, 2026) has officially started, there are tons of deals on our favorite tech gadgets, like speakers to blast your music. Our scientists and product analysts in the Good Housekeeping Tech & Engineering Lab tested 45 Bluetooth speakers in recent years, and nearly all of our top-tested Bluetooth speakers are on sale for Prime Day.

My personal favorite speaker, the Bose SoundLink Plus, is coincidentally our pros’ best overall pick (I have good taste, if I say so myself!). But our audio experts also love the JBL Grip Portable Bluetooth Speaker for its tiny size yet powerful sound quality and volume.

The speaker I use all the time is this color option from Bose. After testing Bluetooth speakers, our Tech Lab experts even rated this as the best overall speaker for its clear sound quality, long battery life, and portability. It’s a bit larger and heavier than other portable picks, but the carrying loop and water resistance make it a great speaker for the beach and outdoors. I love that I can play music softly at the beach or blast the volume through my home whenever I’m having a party. It’s simply the best.

This speaker has an extremely loud sound for its tiny design, with great bass and a portable design. “It's shaped like a beverage can, so it fits into the beverage pocket on a backpack,” shared GH Data & Product Operations Manager Nikolas Greenwald, who conducted the most recent round of Bluetooth speaker testing.

You can even connect multiple speakers so you can play the same music in multiple rooms or simply for extra volume. The brand claims it can survive submersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes, too (it’s our experts’ top pick for waterproof speakers). Grab it in a bright or neutral color, and get it while it’s 30% off.

If you’re looking for a great speaker at a great price, the Anker Soundcore 3 is our pros’ best value thanks to its budget-friendly price, 24-hour battery life, portability, and waterproof construction. It’s lightweight yet loud, so you can bring it with you wherever you go or use it to play music at home.

This teeny tiny speaker packs a punch. I don’t always want to lug a tote bag to the park, so I love that I can literally throw this speaker in my purse and it’ll fit. It’s super light and takes up barely any room in our TV console drawer, and it has decent volume for one room, so it’s the perfect mini speaker for a small apartment.

Another tiny speaker, the Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 3rd Gen, produced a well-balanced, loud sound in our Tech Lab tests. “This speaker was among the loudest we tested even with its tiny form factor,” Greenwald shared.

The design of this speaker is also inconspicuous, and I think the brown color looks chic and can blend in with your living room decor. The brand claims it has 24 hours of battery life, is light in weight, and is an excellent pick, although it’s a bit pricey.

Super compact and tiny, Bose's SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen) is a semi-flat rectangle that makes it easy to pack in any bag. You can even use the straps on the back of the speaker to secure it to a backpack or cooler handles. It’s not the loudest option, but it delivered volume and sound quality impressive for its incredibly tiny size. It’s a great pick if you want more volume than what your phone can give (but don’t want to be blasting music super loudly).
