Plenty of Good Housekeeping staffers are obsessed with BAGSMART, a travel bag and luggage brand that offers stylish pieces for affordable prices—and one of our favorite carry-on weekender bags is on sale today.
The BAGSMART Carry-On Weekender regularly retails for $30, but you can get it at 20% off at $24 today in medium, large, and extra-large sizes. The medium aligns within most airline size limits (for a personal item), according to Textiles Lab Associate Director Emma Seymour who tests travel bags and luggage regularly at the Good Housekeeping Institute. Just note that prices and discounts vary by size and color.
The bag weighs just under 2 pounds, but testers were impressed with how much they could fit inside it. “It's especially great for overpackers,” said one tester, who praises the “super roomy interior and convenient exterior pockets.”
Also included is a wide crossbody strap for easy carrying, along with two top handle straps and a yoga mat buckle. This also makes for an excellent workout bag. In fact, I’ve seen iterations of it used in my adult dance classes.
Something to note: The bag is made with a thin nylon material that helps keep it lightweight. However, some testers noted a bit of wear and tear after a long trip.
But at this price, you really can’t go wrong. As someone who lives and breathes products for a living, I know that similar competitor bags can retail upwards of $100 to $200. For the size and amount this bag can carry, I think it’s totally worth snagging, especially when it’s on sale.
