Good Morning America star Michael Strahan reunited with former GMA3 co-stars Keke Palmer and Sara Haines.
The trio appeared on the July 8 episode of the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast to reminisce about their times working together.
The trio hosted GMA3: Strahan, Sara and Keke until the segment got cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Michael Strahan fans, remember the days when he hosted the third hour of Good Morning America? Well, it’s time to walk down memory lane!
Back in the late 2010s, fans would watch the former NFL star, along with Sara Haines and Keke Palmer, on GMA3: Strahan, Sara & Keke. While the segment eventually ended in 2020, fans still love the days when the trio would sit together and go through what was trending in the world of pop culture.
Well, recently, Michael, Sara, and Keke all reunited for the July 8 episode of the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast. Sharing an Instagram promo of what fans could expect, it’s clear Keke couldn’t have been more thrilled about reuniting with her former co-hosts.
“The GMA3 reunion I didn’t know I needed 🥹,” she wrote. “Some work friendships really do become family💖 Reuniting with @MichaelStrahan and @SaraHaines felt like no time had passed. The laughs, the memories, the inside jokes... it was giving ‘we picked up right where we left off.’”
Given how it’s been so long since seeing Michael, Keke, and Sara all in the same room, fans had so much to say about the reunion online.
“I enjoyed you three when you had your show together. 😫♥️,” one person reminisced in the comments. “Wait this is so IMPORTANT to me!!!!” another exclaimed. “The trioooo is back together 🙌🏾,” a different follower added.
We absolutely adore this unexpected moment from the group! And while we know this is a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity for us, maybe this is the chance for Michael, Keke, and Sara to make a grand group return to TV sooner rather than later! But given how Michael is busy with GMA and Sara is currently co-hosting The View, we may have to cross our fingers for this to happen.
We can only hope!
