Ken Jennings has been the host of Jeopardy! since 2022.
The TV personality was nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host at the 2026 Emmy Awards.
Jeopardy! also got nominated for Outstanding Game Show ahead of the September 14 ceremony.
Ken Jennings has a lot to celebrate about his time hosting Jeopardy!
The TV personality has made a name for himself after he succeeded the late Alex Trebek as the host of the hit quiz show franchise in 2022. And on July 8, the Television Academy recognized him with a 2026 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Game Show Host.
Jeopardy! itself was nominated for Outstanding Game Show, and Colin Jost, who hosts Pop Culture Jeopardy!, was also nominated in the Outstanding Game Show Host category.
“You can add us to the @televisionacad nominations list 😎,” read a caption on the show’s Instagram.
After fans saw the news about Ken's achievement, they sent their wishes.
"If Ken doesn't win this, I will personally... well, I won't do anything, but I'll be disappointed. *Very* disappointed," one person exclaimed in the comments. "You should definitely win, Ken! We love you! ❤️," another replied. "Please let Ken Jennings win an Emmy 🤞🏻🤞🏻," a different follower added.
This is the fourth time Ken has been recognized in this category since 2023.
Ken hasn’t said anything about the achievement yet, but fans will see him on TV soon as season 4 of Jeopardy! Masters begins on August 25, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
Fingers crossed for Ken!
