Jeopardy! season 43 will premiere Monday, September 14, 2026.

Executive producers Michael Davies and Sarah Whitcomb-Foss teased new changes coming to the show.

Calling all Jeopardy! fans. The series is returning for its 43rd season—and you won’t have to wait long.

The hit quiz show announced on Instagram that season 43 will premiere Monday, September 14, 2026, with Ken Jennings back behind the podium.

“Watch out,” the show’s social team captioned a first-look trailer on September 2. “We're about to enter our S43 era 😎✨ A whole new season of Jeopardy! starts September 14.”

Unsurprisingly, fans were ecstatic about Jeopardy! coming back for an all-new season this fall.

“I am so excited for a new season and all the new contestants coming in! Can’t wait to root for everyone!” one person wrote in the comments. “I’ve never seen this cinematic of a trailer for Jeopardy,” another noted. “Counting down the days!!!” a different follower added.

And a new season isn’t the only thing that’s in store. On the September 3 episode of the Inside Jeopardy! podcast, executive producers Michael Davies and Sarah Whitcomb-Foss revealed that changes are afoot.

“I don’t know if everyone has noticed at home, but we’ve had a few upgrades,” Sarah announced. “Our lighting team has been hard at work. New columns. New lighting colors. It’s like a glow-up.”

“We’re going for a richer lighting look, and I think we achieved that,” Michael added.

Michael also teased that he’d love to try something new on the show.

“Live is terrifying for a quiz show producer,” he noted. “But I think we’ve got to go live. We need to have a version of Jeopardy! that is live. That is something we will be talking about in the next few months.”

Well, consider us excited!
