Jessie James Decker appeared as a guest on the Good Housekeeping vodcast, Good Enough.

Jessie opened up about a parenting rule she and her husband, Eric Decker, have for their kids.

The couple has a daughter, Vivianne, and sons Eric Jr., Forrest, and Denver.

Jessie James Decker is sharing one of her parenting rules—and many fans agree.

When the singer and author appeared on the October 7 episode of the Good Enough vodcast, Jessie shared some of the rules she and her husband, Eric Decker, use to raise their four kids: daughter Vivianne and sons Eric Jr., Forrest, and Denver.

As she told Good Housekeeping editor-in-chief Elspeth Velten, the couple doesn’t give their kids an allowance in exchange for helping around the house. Instead, Jessie hopes to instill a willingness to help out on their own—not for an incentive.

“No, there’s no allowance at all,” she said in a clip posted on Instagram. “They do help, absolutely. But I don’t love the allowance thing. You should just want to help out because you live here.”

When fans heard Jessie’s thoughts on allowances, they rushed to support her.

“Exactly my thoughts!!” one person wrote in the comments. “Yessssssss......love this,” another agreed. “Amen sista,” a different follower added.

However, Jessie and her husband do give the kids cash from the tooth fairy.

“Each kid has their own tooth fairy, and the tooth fairy writes them letters and leaves it when they take the tooth and explains their journey to get there,” she shared in another Instagram clip. “$5, that’s it.”

We love this for the Decker family!
