Giada De Laurentiis is teaming up with Hallmark to executive produce a new movie for the network’s 2026 “Countdown to Christmas.”
The Christmas Eve Feast, starring Daniella Monet and When Calls the Heart star Kevin McGarry, will premiere on November 27, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark.
This marks Giada’s second movie collaboration with Hallmark.
Giada De Laurentiis is heading to Hallmark for the holidays.
The celebrity chef has had a lot going on as of late, between creating social media content and appearing on Dancing With the Stars season 35. She got eliminated earlier in September, but she’s not leaving the television world just yet.
Hallmark announced the network’s 2026 “Countdown to Christmas” lineup on September 17, with new movies to watch from mid-October to mid-December. One of the films is The Christmas Eve Feast, which Giada is executive producing. It airs Friday, November 27, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark. The film will star Daniella Monet, Toni Ellwand, and Kevin McGarry of When Calls the Heart.
This isn't the first time Giada has worked with Hallmark behind the scenes on a movie. She executive produced the TV movie Always Amore (starring Autumn Reeser and Tyler Hynes), which premiered in April 2022.
The Christmas Eve Feast will follow executive chef Silvana “Silvy” Gianetti (played by Daniella), who is disillusioned with her job at a fancy New York restaurant. When her Nonna suffers an unexpected injury, Silvy goes home to Boston to help prepare her family’s Italian “Feast of the Seven Fishes” Christmas Eve dinner.
But as Silvy’s family welcomes Ethan (played by Kevin), a photographer who’s close to her grandmother, the two develop a bond as he captures the traditions that remind Silvy of the food she truly enjoys. What’s more, Silvy starts to wonder where she belongs and who should be with her in life.
This movie sounds so sweet, and we can’t wait to see it!
