Actress Erin Krakow confirmed a major spoiler for her character, Elizabeth Thornton, and her fiancé, Nathan Grant, in season 14.

When the actress who plays Elizabeth Thornton attended the 2026 Hearties Family Reunion in Vancouver, Canada, on October 3, she teased what’s next for her character after getting engaged to Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) during WCTH’s season 13 finale. And it seems the fictional couple will tie the knot in season 14.
“Anyway, it was scary and special and wonderful, and we’re very happy that our characters are now … married!” she announced to the shocked audience in an Instagram clip. “I don’t know if I was supposed to say that!”
With this big spoiler revealed well before the January 2027 premiere, fans couldn’t hold back their excitement.

Fans know Erin and Nathan’s relationship has been in the works since the latter’s first appearance in WCTH season 6. The couple eventually got together at the end of season 11, and fans have loved them for years.
As for what else is coming on WCTH this season, Lori Loughlin is set to return as Abigail Stanton after a seven-year hiatus from Hallmark. Marilu Henner will also join the show as Nathan’s mom, Birdie, giving us more people to enjoy having around in Hope Valley.
