Lacey Chabert fans, it’s time to grab your passports for an epic adventure.
Folks who love Hallmark know Lacey for all the different projects she works on with the network. Well, Hallmark just revealed her latest television project on March 3. Sharing an Instagram clip of Lacey holding a copy of author Jenn McKinlay’s 2020 novel Paris Is Always a Good Idea, the network announced that Lacey would be starring in a six-episode TV adaptation that’ll air later in 2026 on Hallmark+. The new gig will have her filming on location in both Paris and Spain.
“Passport? ✔️. Paris? ✔️. Romance? Always. 💌🇫🇷,” the caption read. “Travel across Europe with @thereallacey in #ParisIsAlwaysAGoodIdea, coming later this year, exclusively on Hallmark+❣️.”
As soon as fans discovered Lacey would be returning to scripted television, they couldn’t hold back their excitement.
“SERIES?! Well that’s big news!” one person exclaimed in the comments. “Lacey and Paris? Say less, @hallmarkplus!!” another cheered. “@hallmarkplus Yayyy! Congrats @thereallacey I can’t wait to watch!! 😍,” a different follower added.
According to a report from People, the series follows non-profit executive Chelsea Martin (portrayed by Lacey) as she travels to Paris to secure a major donation for her company. While she initially travels there with rival-turned-friend Jason Knightly (played by Scott Michael Foster), a heartfelt message from her late mom, along with a push from her sister Annabelle (played by Rebecca Hanssen), sends Chelsea on a journey to reacquaint herself with three important loves from her past.
This is definitely something to keep an eye out for—and maybe we need to book a trip to Paris after watching it!
