‘When Calls the Heart’ Fans Beg Hallmark for One Thing After Seeing This Season 14 Update

The When Calls the Heart crew is back in Hope Valley!

The hit Hallmark drama is set to premiere its milestone season 14 sometime in 2027. And given how season 13 offered several emotional surprises (an engagement, the return of family members, etc.) along the way, we can only imagine what’s to come.

Well, it seems like our wish for new episodes may be granted soon, based on the latest announcement from the show. Posting a video of the Hope Valley set in Vancouver, Canada, on Instagram, the show announced that WCTH was filming.

“It’s finally here, #Hearties!” the caption read on August 4. “Day one of filming for When Calls the Heart season fourteen! Drop your well wishes for the cast and crew in the comments below. 🎉🎉🎉.”

When fans saw the news, they had a major request regarding Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow)’s relationship with fiancé Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) in the new season.

“One request....please don't wait til the end of the season to marry Elizabeth and Nathan. We have waited long enough! 😍,” one person pleaded in the comments. “Happy first day of filming season 14. Can’t wait for WEDDING SEASON!!! 💍👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️🥂💐,” another exclaimed. “I agree don't wait till the end of the new season. Let them get married at the beginning,” a different follower added.

And while we won’t know what’s going to happen until the season premiere, Erin, who is also an executive producer, posted her own thoughts about returning for a new installment on Instagram.

“Back in the valley for SEASON 14 of @wcth_tv!” she wrote in the caption on August 4 alongside Kevin McGarry (who plays Elizabeth’s fiancé, Nathan Grant), Jaeda Lily Miller (who plays Allie Grant), and Hyland Goodrich (who plays Little Jack “LJ” Thornton).
