Herbed White Bean Dip
Add a little green to your apps table.

Move over, spinach artichoke — we've got a new healthy dip that's full of vegetables and flavor. This herby white bean dip is a super easy appetizer that's sure to be a crowd pleaser and even get your kids to eat veggies.
After wilting kale, scallion greens and basil, all you have to do is toss them into a food processor with the remaining ingredients and blend together. It results in a creamy snack that you'll be dying to dunk everything into. We suggest some crunchy raw vegetables and crisp crostini to keep things light and balance textures. Though it only takes 15 minutes to make, it also holds up quite well so you can make it hours or even a day before festivities to take one thing off of your plate as your guests are arriving. Keep a batch in the fridge to put out for a simple and nutritious spread that your kids can snack on after school. The beans and kale provide protein and some essential nutrients, so it'll keep everyone satisfied until dinner is ready.
If you're tired of the same old dips you put out time and time again as party hors d'oeuvres, try this white bean-based option to change things up. Everyone will be asking for the recipe, and they'll never know how healthy it actually is. We promise we won't tell.
