Our pros have recommended the Bear Elite Hybrid for seniors, those who want a luxury feel, or anyone looking for deeper sleep. In fact, Strategy & Operations Executive Director Lexie Sachs has evaluated over 100 mattresses based on testing data in her several years at GH, yet she chooses to sleep on the Bear Elite Hybrid in her own home.

"The Bear Elite Hybrid far exceeded my expectations," Sachs says. "Right away, I started sleeping more deeply on it—in fact, I slept right through my alarm the first morning. And my husband, who regularly complained about the mattresses I brought home for us to try, agreed this was the best one yet. Nearly two years later, the mattress has remained comfortable and supportive, allowing us to fall asleep easily and stay asleep throughout the night."
Our experts named the Bear Elite Hybrid the best hybrid mattress after it earned perfect ratings across the board from all of our testers for comfort and support. We were impressed by its reinforced edge support, which is a rare find among boxed mattresses. It's available in three firmness levels and sizes Twin through California King—and it even won a GH Bedding Award four years in a row.
