As Good Housekeeping’s commerce director, it’s literally my job to shop. The role basically enables my late-night scrolling, but I also go to stores, try stuff on, feel the fabrics, and then consult the experts in our Textiles Lab for gut (and fabric) checks. Traditionally, I wouldn’t say that Labor Day is the best time of the year to save on clothing, unless you’re still holding on to summer. That superlative usually goes to Cyber Week. But our team has found a dizzying array of Labor Day deals on items that’ll help you build up your fall capsule wardrobe, like our top-tested walking shoes, the Hokas one of our writers ran a marathon in (those are 20% off), and our favorite undies (they’re 10 for $40 at Victoria’s Secret right now). Our Textiles Lab has praised Kim Kardashian’s line for its intimates, bras, and shapewear. Right now, the store has markdowns of up to 50% off on its clothing, from T-shirts to pants to camis.
