Labor Day weekend is here, and if you’re set on streamlining your space, it’s worth checking out the great deals happening now. I found tons of discounted organizing products to shop on sites like Wayfair, Amazon, and The Container Store.

Can’t miss sales:

To find the best of the best, we tapped several professional organizers to find out the items they swear by—this includes stackable storage bins, bathroom counter organizers, and handy pouches for corralling school supplies. “As the pace of summer settles, it's the perfect time to turn that same back-to-school clarity toward your own spaces,” says pro organizer Regina Lark of A Clear Path. “A little order now sets the tone for the months ahead.”

Need a way to tame all the unsightly cords in your home? Diane Lowy of New York at Home recommends these velcro straps to keep them under wraps.

“This velcro wrap can be cut to any size so it's perfect for anything that requires management. You can use it to make cords hug the leg of a desk, so you can't see them dangle or keep an outdoor extension cord from unravelling,”

Don’t settle for dingy cutting boards. If you’re in the market for a new set, Maeve Richmond, founder of Maeve’s Method, says you can’t go wrong with this four-pack. “I love these flexible plastic boards, as they are lightweight and take up little space in the kitchen, and color-coding makes it easy to stay organized and avoid food cross contamination.”

“This two-tier bathroom organizer is ideal for maximizing vertical space while keeping everyday products visible and easy to reach,” says Tonia Tomlin, founder of the Texas-based organizing company Sorted Out. “The open shelves accommodate taller skincare bottles, perfumes, and daily essentials, while the drawer conceals smaller items that can quickly make a countertop look cluttered.”

It even has a remove basket on the side, which Tomlin uses for hair styling tools and brushes. “This is ideal for my ADHD clients, who think out of sight, out of mind, and it looks pretty when it’s on the counter,” she adds.

These zippered pouches are a must-have for Jackie Pittman of Chez Nous Organizing. Made of mesh, Pittman says “they create a home for anything,” and you can get them in a pack of 14, 20, or 32.

“I use them to create easy grab-and-go packets for so many things—they’re fun boredom busters for my kids at restaurants, quick first aid packets for each car, easy travel kits, etc.,” Pittman says.

Velvet hangers help to maximize space and give any closet a more polished look. “Swapping mismatched hangers for one uniform style instantly makes a closet look more organized—even before you've removed a single item. It's the fastest visual win in any decluttering project. Instant results!” says Lark.

Stackable drawers are one of the most versatile home organizing solutions out there, according to Pittman. “They can truly transform almost any space—under the bathroom sink or in an arts-and-crafts closet or cabinet,” she says of this four-piece set.

Any pro organizer will tell you to take advantage of your home’s vertical space—it’s one of their favorite hacks. Lark likes this over-the-door shoe organizer, complete with 28 spacious pockets, for a few reasons: “We rarely use these for shoes. Instead, they’re great for cleaning supplies, craft materials, kids' art supplies, even pantry packets. It's vertical storage that doesn't cost you any floor or shelf space, which matters most in smaller homes. And the clear plastic makes finding what you need really, really easy!”

Paper clutter can quickly get out of control if you’re not careful. Pittman likes to use a simple hanging file to maintain an orderly desktop. “It’s for all of the easy-to-grab papers you need to reference or for everything your kid throws your way after school,” she says.

Like Pittman, organizer Nichole Gehman uses zippered pouches, but she’s partial to this clear eight-pack. She says they work for way more than school supplies, too: “I use them in vehicles to hold the registration and insurance card, and in my glove box for my checkbook and car note pamphlet,” Gehman says.

Keep your hat collection in order with these stackable organizers (each one can hold 12 of your favorites). You can grab one bin, or snag them in a set of two, four, or six.

“Sometimes we’ll work in closets and the hats are just covered in dust, but this allows you to see in them, keep them dust-free and they’re stackable! That’s a powerful trio,” Gehman says.

Clear bins are used in just about every organizing project Lark tackles. “They let clients see what they have at a glance, which cuts down on the duplicate buying that drives clutter in the first place. Caveat: do not overfill!,” she says.
