The Christmas countdown is officially on and we’re wanting to dress more and more festive by the day. Lucky for us, we have plenty of inspiration from some of our favourite TV stars.
Last week, Lorraine Kelly stepped into the ITV studio in the ultimate Christmas jumper from Marks & Spencer.
Forget cheesy reindeers and snowflakes (though we still love those, too) and take a leaf out of Lorraine’s book by embracing the festive season with some adorable Santa sausage dogs!
Posting her outfit details to Instagram, the 60-year-old wrote: “Festive knits at the ready! 🎄 What will you be donning this #ChristmasJumperDay? @markheyesstylist shares his favourite picks from the high street. Lorraine wears jumper from @marksandspencer."
The jumper in question is the Embellished Dog Christmas Jumper and it's on sale for just £15 from M&S, although it has nearly sold out online. But you should still be able to pick it up in store.

And, if you're after more Christmas jumper inspiration, here are few more of our favourites to shop now...
Channelling Craig Revel Horwood on Strictly, this jumper is bound to be a talking point and manages to be festive without being cringe. Style with a black velvet skirt for the office lunch.
How can you not love this twist on the popular Feliz Navidad Christmas tune by José Feliciano? It also makes a nod to the famous 80s jumper worn by Princess Diana, plus is super soft and cosy.
Best fair isle Christmas jumper
You'll be able to wear this classic fair isle knit all winter. Made with wool, it's cosy and warm, and you can layer a fine-knit polo neck underneath when it gets really cold.
Best traditional Christmas jumper
With the classic nutcracker soldiers and festive colours, this jumper is one you'll get out year after year. Size up if you want to layer underneath.
Best budget and best for families
This red tartan jumper taps into autumn/winter's biggest print, and gives it a festive update. Oh, and you can also get a coordinating knit for your dog.
The Christmas jumper goes glam with this M&S slogan sweater. Pair with some velvet trousers or a lace or satin midi skirt for festive nights out.
This makes us want to whip up a hot chocolate and some fondue. There's something so wholesome (and maybe a little bit 80s) about this Nobody's Child knit and we like the relaxed fit.
We love the colours of this sparkly knit: mint green and pale pink always go well together. Pair with your favourite dark chocolate or burgundy pieces for sparkle season.
What's more festive than a sausage dog wrapped in a festive scarf? Actually, don't answer that. It's cute and it's in the shade of the season, that's all you need to know.
Best Christmas sweatshirt
Swap your knit for a sweatshirt this year with this fun Snoopy design. Snoopy looks exactly how we feel come Christmas Eve, too.
Is there anything more cheering than a line of penguins holding flippers? We also love the blues and whites of this jumper, which is a nice alternative to all the classic reds and greens.
This Boden Christmas cardigan features 3D pompom berries and embroidered holly around the neckline, to create an extra feelgood festive knit.
