Good Housekeeping Institute analysts crowned the best bedding of the year in our annual Bedding Awards.
Right now, several 2026 winners are on sale, including our favorite sheets from Brooklinen.
If you’ve noticed that your bedding has seen better days, you’re in luck. Our experts recently announced this year’s Good Housekeeping Bedding Award winners (which by the way, you should check out the full list—our team spent spent six months testing over 300 bedding products to find the best ones). I spotted several winners on sale, including 25% off our favorite Brooklinen sheets.
Brooklinen’s holding their annual Anniversary Sale, so from April 15 through April 28, you can take 25% off of your entire purchase, with discounts up to 50% on select bundles, making it an excellent time to score a fresh set of Brooklinen sheets. Our bedding experts in the Good Housekeeping Institute’s Textiles Lab have been recommending these sheets for years, even naming them the best overall sateen sheets. It’s safe to say they’re a good pick if you’re looking to upgrade to a nicer set of sheets.

Unlike other sateen options that can feel too slippery, Brooklinen’s version is both soft and crisp. During our testing, we were pleased by how nicely these held up—they were strong and didn’t pill easily after several laundry cycles.
“It feels like I am staying in a nice hotel when using them,” one of our testers said. “The sheets have a high-end look.”
Emma Seymour, associate director of the Textiles Lab, was impressed with the smart design, which includes labels for the short and long sides of the sheets that make it easy to make your bed.
Although holiday weekends are typically the best time of the year to save on top-tested mattresses and bedding, the current slate of spring sales and Earth Day sales are worth paying attention to. In addition to Brooklinen’s sale, we’ve spotted up 35% off other Bedding Award winners, including supportive pillows, cooling comforters, soft throw blankets, and even pain-relieving mattresses.
