It’s known that Amazon is a go-to for notable sales and fast shipping—especially during the week of Prime Day (which runs until June 26). But even when Prime-related shopping events aren’t taking place, you can find some jaw-dropping deals if you look in the right place.

I’m talking about the Amazon Outlet page. It’s filled to the brim with discounts on both editor- and Good Housekeeping Institute-loved products and brands—and I’m honestly impressed by the current markdowns listed. (Just look at these Sony headphones that are more than 50% off and this popular Squishmallow that’s under $10.)

If you’re contemplating pressing “Add to Cart,” remember: These sales come and go quickly—so act fast if you want to buy 'em.

What is Amazon Outlet?

Similar to a brick-and-mortar outlet store, Amazon's Outlet offers steep discounts on excess inventory, including overstock and clearance items. But instead of sifting through bargain bins IRL, the Amazon Outlet is conveniently accessible with a click and offers the e-tailer's fast, free shipping.

You can find markdowns on nearly every category at Amazon's Overstock Outlet, including home, beauty, toys, pet supplies, and more.

How do I get to the Amazon Outlet?

Amazon's secret Overstock Outlet is a bit tricky to find from Amazon's homepage (it is a secret, after all!). On a desktop, you can locate Amazon's outlet by clicking the three bars at the top left of the homepage and scrolling to the "Programs and Features" section. From there, click "See All" to reveal the "Amazon Outlet" button, which will take you straight to Amazon Overstock Outlet's main page.

In the Amazon app, you can find the outlet by tapping the three bars at the bottom right of your screen, then selecting "Today's Deals." Then scroll through the categories at the top of the screen and click "Overstock Deals."

What's the difference between Amazon Outlet and Amazon Warehouse?

Although they may sound similar, Amazon Outlet and Amazon Warehouse have entirely different inventories. Amazon Outlet sells overstock inventory and clearance items that have not been used before. On the other hand, Amazon Warehouse sells open-box, refurbished, and returned items. Usually, Amazon Warehouse offers steeper discounts than Overstock, since most items are used or pre-owned.
