Charming gardens sheds go way beyond storage. More and more, homeowners are turning them into everything from crafty potting stations to cozy reading sheds and quiet home offices. If you’ve been dreaming of your own cottage-inspired escape, Costco's latest outdoor find might be just the thing.
Reinvent your outdoor space with an architecturally-inspired structure that feels like it's been pulled straight from a charming movie set—think transom windows, a pitched roof, and charming trim. Turn the extra square footage into a private gym, creative craft studio, or relaxing she shed—the options are endless. The interior can be customized, and you can choose from two sizes: 12' x 10' or 16' x 10'.
Remember, you’ll need a Costco membership to buy this dreamy shed. If you’re not a member, don't worry: There are equally as charming sheds you can buy on Amazon.
Costco’s wood shed is defined by its dual-pitched roof and clerestory windows that invite natural light to flood the interior. The three operable windows help with air circulation, but the screens keep pests out. The extra-wide double doors (large enough to accommodate ATVs and riding mowers) and the windows can be installed in multiple places, so you can customize the shed to maximize your space.
Before you stress over the installation, the purchase of this shed includes delivery and installation by a professional. Keep in mind: The siding is pre-primed and ready for paint, but the paint isn't included. I’d suggest a nature-inspired hue, like forest green, slate blue, or creamy white.
With a 15-year warranty, this modern structure is built to last. It's tough enough to withstand winds up to 115 mph and the treated siding provides protection against hail, wind, moisture, decay and termites. The shed also includes wood flooring that can support up to 52 pounds per square foot, per the brand.
