Apple tech is frequently discounted during holiday sales, but not all Labor Day deals are worth your time and money. Case in point: This year, we recommend shopping for a new pair of AirPods while the Good Housekeeping Institute-tested AirPods 4 are under $100. However, it’s worth waiting for a deeper deal on a new MacBook or an Apple Watch as the holiday weekend gets closer.

SHOP ALL THE BEST LABOR DAY DEALS

It’s also worth mentioning that prices on Apple gear tend to decrease as the tech giant prepares to release new models of their popular gadgets. With new AirPods and iPads rumored to drop in the coming weeks, it’s likely your last chance to scoop up the current models at these low prices, especially considering Apple’s previously announced price increases.

As always, we'll continue to monitor Apple deals as Labor Day weekend approaches to keep you up-to-date on all the discounts worth shopping.

AirPods Deals

Ahead of Labor Day, we’re already seeing some notable AirPods deals. Shoppers looking for a budget friendly model should opt for the AirPods 4. At $99, these entry-level earbuds are sitting at the lowest price they’ve been all year (though we’re eager to see if they drop closer to the record-low $69 deal we saw last Black Friday). And if you’re partial to over-ear headphones, shave up to $100 off the AirPods Max 2, which were just released in March and sold out quickly during Prime Day.

iPad Deals

iPads are only slightly discounted ahead of Labor Day, but we’re hoping these deals will deepen—especially if you’re looking to scoop one up in time for the new school year. During previous sales, we’ve seen up to $200 off these sleek tablets, but for now, the best deal is $100 off of the iPad Air.

MacBook Deals

MacBook deals are meager for now, but we’re remaining hopeful that better discounts will crop up once Labor Day arrives. Right now, the best deals are on models with souped-up storage, so if you’re looking for an entry-level device, we’d advise you to wait. We’re also keeping tabs on the MacBook Neo, Apple’s most budget-friendly laptop yet, to see if it will go on sale for the first time.

AirTags Deals

Since their release in January 2026, Apple’s second-generation AirTags have rarely gone on sale, so we’re excited to see that both the single tracker and the four-pack have dropped to their lowest price ever just in time for Labor Day. These revamped trackers impressed our editors thanks to the improved Precision Finding technology.

Apple Accessories Deals

Amazon tends to offer deep discounts on Apple accessories like cases, keyboards, and Apple Pencils for use with iPads. Right now, you can save up to 59% thanks to this crossbody strap deal.

Does Apple have a Labor Day sale?

Not exactly. Apple is currently running a back to school offer that's worth taking advantage of if you have family members headed back to college. Through September 30, college students, parents, and educators can receive an Apple gift card with the purchase of an iPad or MacBook through Apple's Education Store. Select products, including Apple Pencils and Magic Keyboards, are also eligible for education discounts.

That said, it's worth cashing in on the discounts at Amazon, since many of these deals are below retail price. Several Apple devices sold out during Prime Day, so whether you upgrade to a pair of AirPods Max or opt for an iPad that's great for travel, we suggest shopping with haste.
