What is Kelly Clarkson doing now?

Much to our delight, Kelly is joining The Voice as a coach for season 30. The show’s official Instagram revealed that new episodes will air starting on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

“We're back,” the caption read on August 18 alongside promo shots of Kelly and her fellow coaches, Adam Levine, Riley Green, and Queen Latifah. “The Voice returns Sept 21 on NBC and streaming next day on Peacock.”

Naturally, fans were ecstatic about seeing Kelly on The Voice.

“Always Team Kelly ❤️,’ one person wrote in the comments. “Looking forward to the new season and seeing Kelly back. 🩷🎶,” another declared. “Always the Queen of The Voice for the win!! Team @kellyclarkson ✨✨🎼❤️,” a different follower added.

This marks Kelly’s 11th time being a coach on The Voice. She previously appeared in seasons 14 through 21, then took a break and returned for season 23. She last mentored for season 29, which wrapped up in April 2026.

But that’s not all Kelly has in the works.

Kelly announced in July 2026 that she was releasing new music, with her single “I’d Be Lyin’” debuting on July 17. The official music video dropped on YouTube on August 21.

“Official Music Video for I'd Be Lyin' shot in Las Vegas on Kelly's Studio Sessions Tour at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace,” the caption read.

We can’t wait!
