New episodes of High Potential season 2 continue to air week after week, and it’s hard not to love this show.
The series follows LAPD consultant Morgan Gillory (Kaitlin Olson) as she works alongside Adam Karadec (Daniel Sunjata) in the police department’s Major Crimes unit, and the two certainly have a unique approach to solving crimes.
Unfortunately, a new episode of High Potential isn’t airing tonight, and we found out the reason for the delay.
When is High Potential returning with new episodes?
High Potential will return with new episodes on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Why isn’t there a new episode of High Potential tonight?
High Potential won’t air because of the 2026 State of the Union, which begins at 9 p.m. ET. The national address airs across multiple networks simultaneously, disrupting High Potential’s regularly scheduled programming.
High Potential made sure to alert fans to the surprise schedule change with an Instagram note.
“Me every time I watch a new #HighPotential 😉,” the caption read on February 22. “Stream on Hulu until we're back Tuesday, March 3 on ABC!”
Naturally, seeing this news upset fans.
“Can’t wait for the next one, the wait is killing me,” one person complained in the comments. “Waiting until the 3rd!! 🫡,” another penned. “Just 10 days left, I can do this! 😂,” a different follower added.
Luckily, we do have a first look at what’s to come for the March 3 episode … and it seems like there’s some more romance in the air for Karadec and his former fiancée/current girlfriend, Lucia (Susan Kelechi Watson). Elsewhere, folks will learn why Nick Wagner (Steve Howey) decided to join the Major Crimes unit, along with Arthur's (Mekhi Phifer) surprise connection to someone from Morgan’s past.
