Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer, but more importantly, it’s a time to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.
In addition to commemorating the holiday on the last Monday in May, viewers can also tune into the annual National Memorial Day Concert the day before. Held on the U.S. Capitol’s West Lawn, the 2026 event will be hosted by Criminal Minds star Joe Mantegna and actor Gary Sinise. It will include heartfelt tributes, emotional performances, and plenty more.
