Reba McEntire Got Sentimental About a Major Milestone, and Fans Are Emotional

It’s been over two decades since Reba premiered on the WB—and Reba McEntire has something to say about it.

To celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary, Reba (who played Reba Hart) took to Instagram to reflect on the career milestone. Sharing various posters of herself, JoAnna Garcia Swisher (who played Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery), and Melissa Peterman (who played Barbra Jean Hart) from the show, Reba got sentimental about what the moment meant to her after so many years.

“Reba premiered 25 years ago today! 🥳,” she wrote in the caption on October 5. “Thankful you all welcomed the Hart family into your lives and for all the memories this show brought us! 📺.”

Shortly after Reba posted her sentimental note, Melissa and JoAnna shared their own thoughts.

“To say this show was life-changing is an understatement. So much came from it, but the most important part is the family I gained that have seen me through all the highs and lows since. Such a gift!” JoAnna wrote in the comments.

“I can't believe it's been 25 years! I am so grateful for the joy, friendships, memories, laughter, and family this show brought to my life. Thank you for laughing with us for so many years. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Melissa added.

Fans were equally emotional.

“I watch this show EVERY SINGLE DAY! When I get to the last episode of the last season, I just start it all over again!” one person penned. “Great show, and very comforting! I love you Reba. Thank you for being such a light in our world! ❤️,” another declared. “We all love Reba so much! Thank you for all the laughs and memories of this precious show! 🥹🥰❤️🫶✨️,” a different follower noted.

Reba aired on The WB and later on The CW from 2001 to 2007. Since then, Reba and Melissa have starred in Happy’s Place, with season 3 premiering on October 23.

JoAnna appeared on Sweet Magnolias for five seasons.
