Mariska Hargitay fans, pay attention.
As the actress prepares to host the 2026 Emmy Awards on September 14, NBC is honoring her iconic run as Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU by airing three episodes connected to her past Emmy recognition.
According to a report from Deadline on August 10, the three-episode Law & Order: SVU marathon is slated to air on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on NBC. Two of the three installments (“Charisma” from season 6 and “Undercover” from season 9) earned Mariska Emmy nominations, and one episode (“911” from season 7) earned her an award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series in 2006.
The marathon comes just one month before the Law & Order: SVU season 28 premiere on October 8. During the new season, the show will air its milestone 600th episode.
In addition to hosting the Emmys, Mariska is up for two awards during this year’s ceremony: Outstanding Cinematography for a Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special for her 2025 documentary My Mom Jayne.
Mariska has expressed that she has no plans to slow down her career.
“Do I want to quit now? No,” she told Variety in an interview published on August 19. “Why? I made a movie while shooting; I did a play for six weeks on hiatus. I’m hosting the Emmys. Next summer, if I don’t make another movie, I’ll probably do another play. And I love it!”
We can’t wait to honor Mariska!
