If there’s one toy craze that has defined 2026, it’s the popularity of squishy toys like NeeDoh. (They’re so popular that NeeDoh scams have popped up online.) Maybe it’s because children want to have physical experiences in a digital world, or perhaps it’s simply because they like the colours and textures and can swap them with friends. Either way, children can’t seem to get enough of squishing, stretching and squashing these blobby collectibles.
So, for anyone hoping to get on a child’s good side this year, there’s good news: NeeDoh is offering not one but two different countdown calendars, and they’re already available to buy.
The first is the countdown to Christmas – excuse me, Squishmas.
Schylling says the calendar features “24 days of groovy surprises, Teenie NeeDoh favourites and exclusive holiday editions”. If there’s one thing that’s catapulted NeeDoh to the top of children’s wish lists, it’s the collectability, so fans are sure to be excited by the prospect of exclusive squishies they can’t get anywhere else. (Just think what they could swap them for!). It is currently showing as sold out, but we have it on good authority that it will be available from Menkind from October.
NeeDoh is sometimes easier to find in specialist shops than online – which is a bonus, as it’s harder to be scammed in person.
If they do pop up online, snap them up fast – they won’t be there for long, as anyone who tried to find a NeeDoh Nice Cube last Christmas can attest. (It’s still selling for well above the RRP on Amazon.) If you do buy online, double-check that the site is legitimate, as plenty of people are trying to make their websites look like the official Schylling website.
